Weight Training

elitefitness will use the most effective means of weight training exercise in order to help you make significant improvements in:

  • MUSCLE TONE
  • MUSCLE SIZE
  • STRENGTH/POWER

Assessment of your progress:

elitefitness can provide initial testing in order to assess your strength, power, muscle size and tone prior to a course of personal training sessions. Regular testing can then be implemented during the course of training to determine what progress you have made.

Further tests that are provided by elitefitness include:

  • 1REPmax - this provides an accurate measure of your strength/power
  • Pull-ups/push-ups - can be used as a good indicator of muscular strength and conditioning
  • Hand grip test - used to determine grip strength and used as a good indicator of strength for the general population

Exercise tests are optional but are encouraged as they allow you to see the progress you are making as a result of regular training sessions. This will often give you the extra motivation you need to achieve your goals quicker!
