GYM FAT BURNER

Try this short intense gym workout to maximise weight loss and fat burning.

  • Sprint on the rower on a resistance level of 10 for 90 seconds then reduce the level to 7 and continue at 75% effort for a further 30 seconds.
    REPEAT THIS 4 TIMES.

  • Move on to the cross trainer, set it at level 7 (RPM = 60+), increase the resistance by 1 every 30 seconds until you reach level 15 then reverse the process until there is no resistance.
    REPEAT THIS TWICE.

FOODS TO BURN FAT AND BUILD MUSCLE

250ml of fresh orange juice will provide almost twice the RDA of vitamin C and the latest research suggest that those whole get their RDA of vitamin C burn 30% more fat during exercise.

People who stick to a low G.I diet, specifically one containing muesli will lose more weight than those following alternative diets..... So get the muesli out for breakfast!

Research suggests eating wholegrain throughout the day will result in 1.2% more fat being lost from your abs than those people who eat the refined varieties.

A handful of mixed nuts are not only low G.I, but will provide a steady release of energy, omega 3 and 6 and muscle building protein.
